This little beaut just arrived in the post. It cost me less than the postage but I must admit I do like it. I can’t say that I am impressed. With the strap/watch combination especially as the dial is black the strap is brown and the watch is “gold” casing with the strap buckle being silver but that can easily be changed. 7836AC3F-821A-4FD3-9B06-5F2589B84401.thumb.jpeg.41e7922b22209268da0900c0fbdeafe5.jpegCE3FC1DF-7567-47FC-89E8-BD19ECAAA78F.thumb.jpeg.ecf90b5bf0583fdef9182e14d7e829d0.jpegHAGD

Really glad to finally have this back from Eterna (via H S Johnson) after its 2 month plus warranty repair.

But torn as to whether I stick on the bracelet

Or go for a less blingy, more reserved brown leather

Leaning towards the strap.

I love that on the brown leather strap, glad they fixed it under warranty

Thanks @Bricey. Surprisingly nice looking, face and bezel look pretty decent, just the hands that look a bit "Humbrol". How long it might work for is another question given that buttery* smooth winding action. Does not feel healthy at all:(

*(peanut butter maybe?)

Not very long. Lost 13 minutes since I took that photo just over an hour ago (or just under an hour ago as Sandoz & Fils  would have me believe...) Looks like it uses a similar timekeeping system to the one your client uses to work out if his accounts are due yet @Bricey:(

Today's offering is my samurai. Taken off its bracelet and put on a NATO. I realised the majority of my watches were on bracelets so I swapped a couple out last night and onto NATO straps. Makes a nice change in the heat.

"Two days wrong!" sighed the Hatter. "I told you butter wouldn't suit the works!" he added, looking angrily at the March Hare.
"It was the best butter," the March Hare meekly replied.
"Yes, but some crumbs must have got in as well," the Hatter grumbled: "you shouldn't have put it in with the bread-knife."
The March Hare took the watch and looked at it gloomily: then he dipped it into his cup of tea, and looked at it again: but he could think of nothing better to say than his first remark, "It was the best butter, you know."

What's going on with everyone painting everything battle ship gray these day.

Big M wants a gray house, so far I've managed to resist.

I agree with you, garden fence, decking etc. How about blue, no !  I'm going to put a nameplate on the shed, Admiral Graf Spee !

This is super posh French Gray by the way,  but it looks green to me.

I'm colour blind so that's my excuse, what I've got in my flat will be ok for another few years, magnolia will come back in fashion eventually.
