Probably nobody's favourite Rolex, certainly not one particularly caught up in the price hype spiral, but it's my favourite, and my birth year, so I'll enjoy the luxury for today.

As a watch to wear every day, I would take a Datejust like that over a Submariner every time. I am biased, because I chose that model (with a black dial) back in 1996. The engine turned bezel is often over looked, it is less bling than the fluted white gold, but has a bit more interest than the plain bezel. I also prefer your Oyster bracelet to the jubilee I chose, party because my jubilee literally wore out in daily use over 20 years :(

Very nice watch

Between this Rolex and your Tudor Glamour, I am split between which I would choose. I would need to try them on.............I could pm you my address. I am quite happy to pay the postage.

Both (to me) beautiful watches.

If you'll babysit at Chez Bricey for a long weekend, you can have both and ill even throw in my Oris 65! :laughing2dw:

It's a lovely size and really comfortable, but the glare from the crystal is terrible.

Have you tried it on a leather strap yet? I quite liked mine on the bracelet, but the leather strap really seemed to suit it better for me.

Obviously won't change the glare issue, best way to fix that is to only sit in dimly lit rooms I'm afraid.
