First let me thank @Briceyfor donating watches for this raffle.

The postie has knocked so let's see what I've won.

What comes in a box like this?

large.20211202_110330.jpg.f71508d024649a0d022cdb202fbba52d.jpg

Actually rather nice. Choice of a solid link bracelet with deployant clasp or leather strap.

Nice clear dial with lumed hands and accent on the seconds.

Thanks again Bricey.

Well only to be expected really. I live on a different planet as far as the Royal Mail is concerned- cupboard still empty for me . groan.gif.8e47a98467621197ca99ffa556982195.gifHopefully I’ll get my reward sometime next week. 1681084969_Fingerscrossed.png.13d962532b50ce36fdf996b528510588.pngYou did send it via International post didn’t you @Bricey doh.gif.c5d445acd87e13facc9e76188fcb88b2.gif

It’s finally arrived. That little parcel that I was waiting for took 3 Posties to carry it from the van to the door 264337806_Broadsmile.png.44a70ecadde5dea9f40d8e93b4e5959f.png

That little parcel turned out to be a bloody big box which I first thought was an urn Curious.png.2a8223693e7e887af4b5c51aadab4aab.png

Then I saw the word Ornake and instantly knew. It was the long lost  raffle prize from Bricey.yahoo.gif.94cac8d552d5d4a1d6d53fbf91a003cf.gif.84c4c1ebe301473025e18bc1fdb87651.gif

So opening the box I found this

You can see now why I thought it was an urn264337806_Broadsmile.png.44a70ecadde5dea9f40d8e93b4e5959f.png

And using a crowbar I finally wrenched the top open and low and behold look what was in it.emoticon-0136-giggle.gif.7abd01c3e7f27b2cc71127a70736bbd5.gif

So I tried it on . It fitted like a glove, it was so light and looked really impressive. Rrre.gif.8dec4717543038f88bd21572ade1bf8c.gif

All I need to do now is to spend five or seven hundred quid on a silver fob and waistcoat and I shall be (almost) indistinguishable from @Karrusel

What about the starched shirt front, wing collar and spats?

On second thoughts, perhaps that's too Jacob Rees Mogg?

Eastbourne Post Office sometimes don't deliver for days, so I will say thank you now Bricey

You are a very generous man :notworthy:

You're not alone, I usually get about a week's worth of post delivered in one go on Monday or Tuesday, then nothing until the next week and so on.

Sadly, the bills still arrive :laugh:

If you leave it open you can use the case as a spoon to stir and taste the soup and time it at the same time.  It's spiffing!   At least that's what I do with mine when Jeeves is away tending the Moes I farm to make pinstripe Mohair suits...don't you know...what...what.
