Favre Leuba Sea Chief

So I bought a job lot off the bay. The only one I'm interested in is this, a Favre Leuba Sea Chief.  Nice to find one that hasn't been badly 'refurbished '. Unfortunately the mainspring appears to be broken.  So I need to find someone to fix it. Both the local places have now shut.

Nightmare getting anything fixed these days. One of my Talis automatics has been in with a local repairer since October. They said 1-2 months, but I didn't chase it up till after Xmas. Turned out the watchmaker just had a positive PCR test and no one else knows anything. So I might find out what's happened to it next week sometime.

So, nice find and good luck. :)

Nice pick up.   I always lament I don't have anything made by them.   One of the guys at poker has a paper thin Favre Leuba and I always admire it.

At least you can tell him he has  a nice watch if he notices you peering up his sleeve to see if has any cards up there.

I'm sending it away to someone I've used before,  may take some months though
