Has Anyone Heard Of Damira?

Recommended Posts

First off, hello from a new member. :) I got into watches big time when I bought a Citizen 7 off of someone last year.

Anyway, for a couple years I've had this old french (that's what it says anyway) called a "Damira". It's a mechanical manual wind up (I'm sure that's not a contradiction) watch with an individual dial at the bottom for the second hand.

Anyone know about them, or french watches in general really. It does look of a certain age, 50's-60's to me.

If I can find it later I will put some pictures up.

Also, could I get some info on Citizen 7's please? When they were made etc. As the one I bought was like new (kept in a drawer and forgotten about by previous owner)

Many thanks, Chris.

The OP was made in 2007, if you want an idea of value, try looking for examples/completed sales on ebay. This batch of 4 which includes a Damira, currently has a bid of £10.50
