Seiko Pepsi Diver Parts

Recommended Posts

My 4 year old Seiko pepsi diver has had a fair amount of swiming use over the years and Id like to get the seals changed and a new original rubber strap.

Can I buy the parts and instructions online ? Should this be done by a watch repair man ?

You should be able to buy all the correct parts online as long as you know excatly which ones, however when it comes to fitting them and making sure the watch is okay and water resistant again this is where I would seek advice from you local watchmaker :)

TBH You wouldn't want to go to all this trouble, then to find out that water enters the watch the first time you go swimming again....

Seals cost me about £5 to buy from ebay. Then took to a watchmaker who tested to 100m 10bar for £12! and my watch is 30 years old, so it might be worth getting parts and sorting out yourself.

Good luck which ever way you go. ;)
