Saga Auto, 99p from the bay! Timex sub-brand. Not sure if they made them for like "Sears" or somebody - maybe BillD knows? (watchnutz)

Hey Mel, my family sold Timex watches from the 50's til early 70's, and had the Marlin as the high end Timex variant. How does the Saga fit into the Timex hierarchy? I can't imagine there could be a cheaper alternative to the standard Timex. :eek: :lol:

Tim I love the look of those, Ive been tempted with one. Any other reason, bar the lack of brace, not to get one?

I can't think of any; I like the bead-blasted finish, drilled lugs are handy, nice clear dial, nicely propotioned case, day/date ... probably the weakest point is the lume; not Seiko or even Omega standard; just passable. Sounds like I'm talking myself out of selling it :D
