Birthday Gift Idea?

Recommended Posts

Hello it is my friend’s birthday soon so I would like to get him a Swiss watch for his birthday. But my price limit is £60 and I don’t know where to begin (no Swatch).

As I would like to purchase a Swiss watch automatic if possible

Any help appreciated.

A list of manufacturers if possible.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Farhan,

Argos have a really good selection of men's Rotary watches for less than £60. Unless your friend has a particular interest in watches I would guess that he would prefer a recognizable brand, albeit, quartz, than a more a more obscure secondhand mechanical watch. I don't think many "non-enthusiast" people would appreciate a secondhand birthday present.

Cheers.

i think you should be able to get a nice tissot for around £70 on ebay that fits the bill i think .otherwise those rotary navitimers in argos are very nice.

Hi,

I think the following is the best you will get close to your criteria.

Argos

Rotary (Swiss est 1895)

Automatic, moonphase, stainless steel, leather strap

£78.28

A bit more than £60 but it looks really very nice.

Probably the cheapest brand new 100 year-established Swiss made mechanical watch around?

Cheers

I should've said it's a skeleton watch. Check it out it is very nice.

Cheers
