Another Hello From Scotland

Recommended Posts

G'd day folk. I'm Bob and I've been interested in watches for around 5 years.

My current collection, I focus on dive and military watches:

Traser P6500 - Amazing quartz watch

Breitling Superocean Pro - One of the older models with the applied wings and subtle slate black dial. Just being serviced.

Ball Engineer Master II Diver - Excellent watch.

My favourate - Doxa SUB 750T Clive Cussler edition

If any one wants pics or a review just ask :) I'm going to get another DOXA so will have to make room in my collection :(

Hi Bob

I too am from Jockland.

Just wondering what your opinion was on the Ball? Like the look of them but haven't heard much about them.

I'd shout "WELCOME!" but I'm only here a few weeks myself, although I've been a lurker for a long time.

You'll like it here!

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I realy like the Ball they have made a great watch. The tritium tubes give it fantastic lume. I've been wearing a Traser for 5+ years and I realy notice the difference when not wearing a watch with them.

I've not had it long but been wearing it most of the time! I'm planning on getting another Doxa, I love the design and fit of them, and I think the Ball will be the watch to go. If you have a local Ernest Jones they are AD for Ball. They only recieved them in August 08 so they are pretty new to test shores. If you looking at getting a new watch then I'd definitly concider them!

 Wow check that lume!!

I bought a watch from Ernest Jones in Stirling a few weeks ago and the woman was trying to plug them - although they didn't have any in stock(??)

I have seen them in the EJ in the Argyle Arcade and they do look good. I just get watch-dizzy when I go in there. What a place!

The lume is great! the tritium gives out light for 10-25 years. You could keep it in a box for 10 years and it would come out looking like that!
