The Watch Budget

Recommended Posts

Well, checked the Watch Budget this morning, there's just £12.70p - $20.23c - in the piggy bank - so that's not gonna buy much even for an affordable, is it! :nono:

Need to let it build up again before I do any more purchasing. Mrs. Mel lets me keep the change when I go to the shops and I pop a £1 coin into the piggy bank till it gtets to an amount to cover a small purchase or two  :to_become_senile:

Interestingly, 'cos I know there's not much there (well I didn't know it was as low as this till I counted it ), it's been three days since I logged on to fleabay, and two days since I looked at the Sales Forum

So the question is:-

Am I cured? Or is it one day at a time? :rofl2:

Trouble is, I've got some stuff to sell, non watch stuff, and if I go on to set that up, will I refrain from lo - - GULP! loo - - - k GULP! looking at  watches

There's no cure Mel. Trust me; once it's in your blood ( or on your wrist ) it's here to stay :D

Btw: you can still get a watch for £12.70...

No chance :D

I try and stay away from the sales forum when ive spent up because it's so depressing to see something nice and know I can't go for it.

Yep, I've bought two watches for £12.50 each and one for £5 plus a handful for £10. Besides, you could always get another strap.

Mrs. Mel lets me keep the change when I go to the shops

She lets you have pocket money but you have to earn it by going to the shops for her. Well done Mrs Mel :D

Oh no - you won't be cured because you don't have much money. Time to buy a strap!

Or, you could always have a go the Trades/Swaps forum

Regards

Dave
