Omega Smp Service

My advice is don't waste your money. You will know when it needs serviced because it will not be working properly.

I would expect it to run another 5 years, would hope for another 10 years, before going down.

It will cost the same, apart from inflation, to service at 5 years as at 15 years.

You have a good watch, if it was me I'd be holding out to see just how good.

Thanks for the replys. Its knowing who to trust that is the problem.

My only concern is I have used the watch for regular swimming, so am thinking it could do with new seals and a pressure test at least. But if you go that far should it be serviced as well ????

I've owned this quartz SMP since the mid 90s.

I've only ever changed the battery. It's never had anything else done to it and I use it as my regular holiday and swim watch.

Never had any problems.

The lack of care shown to it probably directly relates to the discoloured honey markings but I love it that way!
