Fake Po On Fleabay

Recommended Posts

Morning all. Saw this on fleabay, surely it's a fake! Took a look at the pics and compared it with Dick Brownes PO yesterday and the helium escape valve is about 5mm lower than the real thing

Not even a good one. :groan:

The 007 sweep-hand is a neat touch though.

Someone is already paying way too much!

What are 'scrathes', are they like Mexican scratches!?!

It's a very common mistake on the bay for people to list auto's as kinetics! Second only to people listing chronographs as chronometers (although this bloke seems to have bucked the trend and made the opposite mistake....)!

IDIOTS!

Ditto. Doubt it'll get taken off in time though, I've reported things days in advance and seen them end =/

Can't contact buyers at all to inform them of things anymore, bloody eBay rules, I can't see any benefits from hiding the bidders/winner!

Looking at the front, I was thinking - hmm i wouldnt have known (the size of the numbers do look odd) but then say the back! ahaha...pretty failed attempt at faking.. :clown:

Whats most sad is the purchaser will be really excited to own it, then one day it'll stop, they either take it for repair or they'll meet another owner with a real one.

To discover its a bad copy.

They'll be completly deflated over what they once loved.

Its terrible and enough to put someone off getting a good watch for life.

And who say's replica watches dosen't effect premium watch buying markets.

By the way, i always report fakes as i can't stand the deceit.

Regards steve
