New Watch In The House- Bling Content....

Recommended Posts

Just for the weekend....

A colleague of the wife asked me to photograph and get the serial numbers and generally check out this watch they have had for ages, hes never worn it since he bought it a few years ago, is a solid 18k gold Rolex DayDate on Presidential bracelet :shocking:

Weighs loads as you can imagine and its just amazing, its in immaculate condition, it came to him with no boxes and papers ( long but very plausible story ) but it absolutely is the real deal...

Not to my taste at all but you have to respect it as a serious chunk of horological wrist wear..... Blowers have one for sale at 15k :shocking:

Its been fun to have it knocking around the house today ....

.... some people must have too much money to spend all that on a watch and never wear it.

.... And SO little taste. Or maybe that's why he never wears it. :rofl2:

I've got the Timex Quartz Indiglo version

(I know, I'll take my coat on the way out) Serious Gold content to have lying about - maybe he's waiting for the world economy to collapse in a banking crisis?

I am also a fan of the yellow gold.

Perhaps it might come down to the fact i think i had very little as a kid or i might be just greedy.

Either way I like that alot.

Thank you for showing us

Yes I agree,

Arabic numerals and a black dial would make

it just perfect.

Is it single or double quick day and date changing ?

the earlier ones were just single quick, which makes

it a bit of a chore to set if not worn regularly.
