Waveceptor Troubleshooting

Recommended Posts

Is there a 'user fix' for a Waveceptor that has different analog and digital times?

The first thing I tried was battery replacement as it's at least 4 years old. It didn't help.

I'm looking at it now; the analog time is about 4:32, the digital time is 1:42.

I downloaded the manual for module 3747. No mention of a 'reset' procedure. I'm trying other initialization procedures in the manual.

If you have any ideas on how to fix this, please reply. I have a feeling this watch is gonzo.

Thanks, Jeff

When you change a battery, you need to reset the watch by shorting between the back of the battery and a contact labelled "A/C" (All Clear) with either a pair of tweezers or a paper clip etc.. Might be worth trying that, and then resetting the analogue and digital displays as per the user guide.

Adding to Davy P's post & assuming you can set the analogue manually: set the analogue manually, then carry out a manual sync. That should do the trick
