The Song Thread

Recommended Posts

Here we go  Let's see how many song titles or lines from songs we can post which have watch or clock "related" items in the title or line

Starting with a pretty obvious one :-

My Grandfather's clock was too tall for the shelf

Oddly enough, despite all the horological sound effects, the lyrics of Pink Floyd's 'Time' don't include 'watch' nor 'clock'.

Parent advisory lyric on this.

Also "Time - speaks of senseless things" apt for this forum really :derisive:

The windmills of Your Mind - Title sequence from The Thomas Crown Affair.

Media insertion not working - but most of you know the tune - not the happiest of ditties
