Sensational Alex Harvey Band - Shake That Thing

A tribute to Automatics - or is it maybe a tribute to my method of watch repair!

Thanks for posting that link, that's my cousin Alex, and I was in the original (pre SAHB) band, plus also with Alex in "Hair" the musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre. We did the original UK version of SHOUT! pre Lulu, and Alex got an import copy of the record from the States. The sound quality was garbage, and we never did figure out the words, so Alex made them up - then Lulu and the Luvvers brought it out and had the hit, using the words and roughly the arrangement we set up. Sigh ! Happy days :spliff: :oldman:

One of my favourite bands from back in the day. Everything they did was unique - favourite tracks Action Strasse and Snake Bite

The Waltz in D flat major, Op. 64, No. 1, popularly known as the Minute Waltz, and also Valse du petit chien, is a waltz for solo piano by Frédéric Chopin.

Spot of Culture to-night!

And if it takes 1min 25secs to play it, you're running slow! :pmsl:

Breakfast at sweethearts By Cold Chisel

Six o'clock I'm going down,

The coffee's hot and the toast is brown,

Hey! street-sweeper, clear my way,

Sweethearts' breakfast the best in town.

woh o-o-oh, Breakfast at Sweethearts.

woh o-o-oh, Breakfast at Sweethearts.

Time after time

If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting

You're not a dream,

You're not an angel,

You're a woman,

I'm not a king,

I'm just a man,

Take my hand,

We'll make a space,

In this life that we planned,

And here we'll stay,

Until it's time for you to go.

Buffy Saint-Marie 1995
