Women And Watches...

Recommended Posts

Ok, so this is a bit of an odd one, but in the last week or so, I've met two women who wear blokes watches... this is not a gripe by the way, jut something I find a bit odd, both girls are just a bit little, yet one wearing an enormous Breitling, and the other wearing a massive Rolex, both beautiful watches, and both... pretty good looking girls, who both seem to have a bit of taste... but these watches are just too big for you... what's all that about...?

One word Fashion  my wife preferes the large white diamond watch i got her last year to any other she has, i got her a perry ellis ladies diver of the forum a week back and all she said is its nice but too small. On another note i work with the elderly with dementia and all the ladies wear the smallest watch ive seen so no clue how they tell the time and get why most are confused about the time of day :D i can hardly read my date on my watches so would never tell the time on these small watches,

Combining the two explanations would indicate that the two ladies you met have severe myopia and need a big watch to see the time without their specs on

This can, of course, be easily confirmed if either or both of them thought you were extremely handsome and desirable, at least that's my experience! :rofl2:

It's the thing for girls these days, just have a look at any of these celeb gossip magazines and you will see they are all wearing them so the girls will follow the trend :D

It's not even a new thing - I remember 6 or 7 years ago I used to work with a girl whose bf had bought her a man's yachtmaster which she wore every day. Or so she said - since he was by then her ex-bf, I always wondered if she had lifted it from him before they split up... :dontgetit:

34mm vintage watches that are just that little bit too small on a man tend to read as quite large on the ladies, and look great. I'm not 'not allowed' to sell my 34mm Precision in case it needs borrowing one night, which works for me! But the trend seems to be to go even bigger.

The other thing seems to be Casio style digitals as a kind of crypto anti-bling bling, anti-watch watch. That one's been gong on for a while. It can actually look pretty cool, but it's been around for a couple of years and it's too obviously 'trendy' now, you wouldn't catch me at it.
