Now if ever there was a waste of £30k, it's that fugly thing  It must have been a very dark night for the thieves to take that. Of course, they might be able to sell it to another footballer  but otherwise it'd be just scrap value - they'll probably take a Brummie screwdriver to it :derisive:

Not a nice watch. But then footballers are rarely noted for their sartorial elegance (ie Balotelli's camouflage Bentley, anyone?)

Sympathy to the lad though, must have been a horrible experience.

One good thing is that often the nicest expensive watches often don't look that expensive, unless you know and appreciate the watch world. Footballers tend not to buy those ones, though.

Keyrice! Mods!

We have a contender for the fugliest watch title - on a par with the Proplof, the Seiko Sicko and "that Services" we now have the Horrible Hublot :fear:

I'll bet they have probs getting more than a fiver down the pub for it, enough to buy a blue pill Maybe?

I feel sorry for him, as that must have been a very scary and frightening experience paying £30k for that :-)

Seriously though, he could have bought a Patek Philippe World Time for that money.

But losing that would really have bought tears to his eyes.

Let's hope once he gets his insurance compensation through, he comes to his senses & joins the Watch Forum and asks advice on how to spend £30k on watches.................(off now to daydream :-)...............
